After customizing the settings in your template (e.g., changing currencies, labels, or formats), we strongly recommend saving a backup copy of the unused version.
This ensures you always have a clean template ready in case you need it again.
Go to File > Make a Copy.
The duplicate will be saved directly to your Google Drive.
Rename the copy clearly (e.g., Template – SL Ver).
For easy access, store it in a dedicated folder (e.g., “Resources”) so all backup files stay organized.
Go to File > Save As.
Choose a location or folder to save the backup file (your computer, an external hard disk, or cloud storage).
For remote access, select a cloud service such as OneDrive or Google Drive.
Rename the file (e.g., Template – SL Ver).
Click Save.
